4th Annual Fashion Show!

On Sunday, September 29, 2019, at 4 pm, Nashville area dance enthusiasts gathered at the Marriott Cool Springs in Franklin for "Be Bold!", Bellissimo's 4th Annual Back to Dance Fashion Show, highlighting the latest and greatest in dance and fitness fashion from around the world.  Todd Sharp, host of the hit tv show SO SHARP, was our special guest.

While relatively new to the event scene of Nashville, this unique production has quickly become a favorite among dancers, teachers, studio owners and the community as a whole.  More than just a fashion show, the event provides a rare opportunity for all of Nashville’s dance community to come together in a non-competitive setting to celebrate a shared love of dance, fashion and friendship.  

This cutting-edge, fashion-forward event highlights and debuted dancewear from American designers, as well as those from Canada, Australia, Portugal, Spain, France and Isreal.  This year’s models featured 67 dancers, representing 38 dance programs throughout Williamson, Davidson, Rutherford, Sumner and Wilson Counties, as well as Louisville, KY.  These beautiful ladies showcased 40 brands and 200 looks in the 2019 show!  In addition to the fashion show, booths featuring all kinds of local businesses related to dance and fitness were set up for shopping and information; and the Bellissimo Pop Up Boutique was also on-site!

New this year!  Bellissimo partnered with Inferno Dance and Dance Team Union, who produced and live streamed the 2019 show. Dance Team Union recently moved their national headquarters to Nolensville, TN, and Inferno will be bringing their ReIgnite Tour to Nashville at the Gaylord Opryland Resort on May 8-9, 2020.  Bellissimo owners, Patrice Powell and Kelley Descher, were excited and honored to introduce Inferno and Dance Team Union to Middle Tennessee!  Robyne Kennedy, director of dance at Brentwood Academy, emceed the fashion event for the fourth year in a row.
