3rd Annual Fashion Show!

Ushering in a new season of dance means it’s time to debut all the new “beautiful”, as well! And what fun we had doing just that with our 3^rd annual “Back to Dance Fashion Show. This cutting-edge, fashion-forward event highlights and debuts dancewear from American designers, as well as those from Canada, Australia, Portugal, Spain, Israel and the United Kingdom. Over 40 different brands and 160 “looks” were presented throughout the event, with even more brands, designs and styles available in the boutique.  

This year’s models featured 59 dancers representing 34 dance programs throughout Williamson, Davidson, Rutherford and Sumner Counties. Approximately 300 guests attended this year’s event.

While relatively new to the event scene of Nashville, this unique production has quickly become a favorite among dancers, teachers, studio owners and the community as a whole.  It provides a rare opportunity for all of Nashville’s dance community to come together in a non-competitive setting to celebrate a shared love of dance, fashion and friendship.  

The mission of Bellissimo is to empower all girls to feel beautiful just the way they are. Bellissimo, which means “beautiful,” reflects the belief of store owners Patrice Powell and Kelley Descher that when you do something you love and are passionate about – with all your heart – your inner beauty shines and cannot be contained.  This fashion event reflects the mission of Bellissimo: “Fashion doesn't make beauty - YOU do. It comes from inside; beauty is WHO you are. But, fashion does allow us to express our own individual beautiful. Cute, fun, edgy, elegant. What is YOUR beautiful?  At Bellissimo we strive to find the perfect dancewear that allows each dancer to express their own kind of beautiful."
